PARKS BOARD PUBLIC INPUT SESSION
The City of Maquoketa Park’s Board is considering the possible sale of Lisa and Crawford Parks. In addition, we are looking for a suitable location for a RC (radio controlled cars) Park and are currently exploring 5th Ward Park. However, before any such recommendation is made to the City Council, we would first like to collect feedback from the citizens that live around those areas and assess whether or not this would result in a negative impact to the neighborhoods nearby prior to making such a recommendation.
We would like to invite you to attend a Public Input Session on Thursday, April 18th at 5:15 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers to share your thoughts with our Parks Board. You can share your thoughts via email to the Volunteer Chair of the Parks Board, Scott Warren, at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re unable to attend the meeting. Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.

HOUSING GRANT INFORMATION
As part of the new metering system that was installed, the City of Maquoketa and MMEU are now able to offer our customers access to a consumer portal.
The consumer portal is a place where customers can access their water and electric accounts and history through a web based portal. Customers will be able to review their consumption, utility bill costs and set and track a budget for utility costs. Additionally, customers will be able to set their account up so they get email alerts when they exceed their budget, a certain amount of usage or when a small or large leak is detected.
If you are interested in enrolling in the Mi.Net Consumer Portal, please stop by City Hall to pick up a form, or click here to download a form.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Deb Lane at Maquoketa City Hall at 563-652-2484 or email@example.com
