Welcome to the Public Works Department.
Our job is to maintain City Streets, storm sewers, all City parks, City airport and City-owned buildings and property. The Public Works Department provides maintenance for City ball diamonds and maintains all City-owned equipment.
The Public Works Department is governed by several committees; these include the street committee, parks board, airport commission, utilities board and the tree board. The Public Works Department consists of six employees, with one being partially funded through the parks budget.

Birch Drive Brush Area

City Boat Ramp
There is a boat ramp and river trail located at North 5th Street.
